Are you under-fuelling? Common Signs

Lots of active individuals and athletes don't realise they are not eating enough for the exercise they are doing. Some common signs:

  • Feeling tired all the time, even after rest days

  • Performance stalling or going backwards

  • Picking up colds, niggles or bone stress injuries

  • Irregular or missing periods, or low libido

Poor sleep, low mood or feeling irritable

Thinking about food a lot, or feeling anxious when plans change

If a few of these sound familiar, it's worth speaking to a sports dietitian (me :-)). Read more about RED-S, or the signs you're not eating enough for your training.
